Booking online will secure the reservation/time slot, and payment will be due just prior to your flight. Due to the unpredictable nature of New England weather, we do not charge guests until the day of your flight.
We process payments using Square. You can pay with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or pay with cash. Checks are not accepted.
Not yet, but soon! Tell Michael you are interested in purchasing a gift certificate. The gift of a scenic flight would be an unexpected treat for that special someone in your life.
General Questions
We take safety seriously by having excellent equipment and superior skills. Our airplane is FAA certified and undergoes regular and thorough maintenance inspections by FAA certified mechanics, and all passengers are required to wear safety belts. Statistically, an air tour is 100 times safer than driving your car to get here. If you are still nervous, this article may be reassuring.
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled flight time. This will allow time for pre-boarding instructions and for you to use the restroom, while keeping to our schedule. Showing up late may affect the duration of your flight, if there is another scenic air tour booked immediately after yours.
Yes, you’ll be able to hear Michael explaining the sights you are flying over, and will be able to speak to each other. Every passenger will have a headset and instruction on how to talk during the flight. Headsets are thoroughly sterilized and disinfected after each scenic flight.
The Cessna 172 has heat and we fly at all times of year. Dress for the season in what you are comfortable in, but no need for gloves or heavy jackets in the winter months.
Absolutely! Some passengers will use their cell phone cameras to capture scenery, others will bring SLR cameras with long range lenses. The choice is up to you.
If you are inclined to motion sickness, we suggest taking preventative measures prior to the flight, such as taking Dramamine, and avoiding heavy, spicy, or greasy meals. There will be motion sickness bags on the plane, but everyone will enjoy the flight more if they are never used!
If you are seated in the co-pilot seat and Michael feels you are capable, he may allow you to take the yoke for a brief period of time.
Safety always comes first, and Michael will have the final say if conditions are acceptable for a flight. You will be contacted in advance if conditions seem adverse, and can then decide to reschedule or cancel the reservation.
